We are currently seeking working students. "Must haves" include the following:
Integrity - doing the right thing even when no one is watching you.
Strong desire for never-ending self-improvement.
People skills, polite and respectful to others.
Alcohol, drug and smoke free.
Experience with horses.
Willing and able to lift at least 50 pounds
Having an open-mind to new ideas and experiences.
Never-ending work ethic.
References, 3 Personal, 1 Professional (vet/farrier/etc)
Daily job tasks will include some or all of the following:
Feeding
Grooming
Mucking Stalls
Bathing
Tacking and untacking
De-cobbing the barn
Cleaning Tack
Watering Arena
General Cleaning
Dragging Arena
Move hay and straw
Scrub buckets
And any other farm chores that I can't think of right now.
Must be available for a minimum of 2 Four hour shifts per week. Be able to provide transportation to and from the farm. Be more than willing to get dirty and have an amazing love for horses and just spending time with them. Looking for someone who is kind and patient with animals.
For every 4 hour shift you will work, you will have an hour of time with me for a lesson, or training your horse. The opportunities are endless for a motivated horse lover.
