Foxgate's head trainer is Tammy Shivers. She started her riding career at the Grosse Pointe Hunt Club. Taking time off to start a family, she never could quite stay away from horses. She started back to riding and managing her parents farm. Working hard to stay current by attending multiple clinics, from natural horsemanship to rider biomechanics. She has been showing horses since she was 7 years young, starting out in Hunter/Jumper with multiple champions produced. Recently she has started showing dressage to expand her knowledge and expertise and to help her students become more well-rounded. She is willing to help a variety of students who want to show or just have a more successful ride at home, and she looks forward to hearing from you. Professionals she has ridden with Mark Ferris, Zander Duffield, Cindy Phibbs, Jesse Peters, Jake Biernbaum, Carol Coppinger, John and Kathy Baar, Barb Sudomier, Karen Rohlf, Craig Johnson, Richard Shrake, Jennifer Truett, Suzi Fitzsimmons, Mary Wanless, Leesa Massman, Laurie Moore, and David de Wispelaere and many others who have shaped who she is today. Most importantly is working with various horses that have and will continue to teach her.
VISITING TRAINER. David de Wispelaere Born in 1961 in the state of New York, is an International dressage rider and trainer. He has trained several horses to Grand Prix Level, was a 2 time US Freestyle Champion and competed successfully throughout the USA and Europe. He has trained with a number of well-known and accomplished trainers such as Robert Dover, Gabriella Grillo, Dr. Rainer-Klimke, Herbert Rehbein and Arthur Kottas.
